Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) are super-prebiotics obtained by hydrolysis of corn ears. XOS helps reduce problems such as unwanted fat and blood sugar in cats with approximately zero caloric value.
XOS enters the large intestine without modification and is mainly used by the digestive bacteria Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli. This reduces negative fermentations that lead to loss of energy, such as bloating and other digestive disorders
