Cats often spend a large part of their day grooming themselves and can therefore swallow large quantities of hair. This ingested hair can compact in the digestive system, leading to the formation of hairballs which are then regurgitated or eliminated through the stools.
ROYAL CANIN® Hairball Care is composed of a specific blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium (rich in mucilages) and insoluble fibres to promote healthy intestinal transit. This means that the hair ingested daily can be eliminated through the stools rather than accumulating in the stomach before being regurgitated.
ROYAL CANIN® Hairball Care contains a precise blend of nutrients with a high protein (34%) and fat (15%) content to ensure a healthy nutrient intake.

ROYAL CANIN® Hairball Care has been proven to remove twice as much excess hair from a cat’s body after just 14 days of feeding.
To meet the individual preferences of each cat, ROYAL CANIN® Hairball Care is also available as wet food in minced meat in gravy. If you are considering a mixed diet, simply follow our instructions to ensure your cat receives the right amount of dry and wet food for optimal benefit.
Composition: dehydrated poultry protein, vegetable protein isolate*, maize, vegetable fibres, rice, animal fats, hydrolysed animal proteins, wheat, maize flour, maize gluten, beet pulp, yeasts and yeast parts, minerals, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, psyllium husks and seeds (0.5%).
