FRONTLINE COMBO SPOT-ON CHAT, is a veterinary medicinal product.
TARGET ESPECIES: Cats and ferrets.
Indications:

In cats: To be used against flea infestations alone or mixed infestations with fleas and ticks and/or lice crushers:

– Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibition of the development of eggs (ovicid activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for six weeks after application.

– Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has acaricidal efficacy against ticks which persists according to experimental data for up to 2 weeks.

– Elimination of grinding lice (Felicola subrostratus). The medicine can be integrated into a treatment programme for flea allergy dermatitis (DAPP).
In ferrets: To be used against flea infestations alone or mixed flea and tick infestations:

– Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibition of the development of eggs (ovicid activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas.

– Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus). The product has an acaricidal efficacy against ticks that persists (according to experimental data) for 4 weeks.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

In the absence of available data, do not treat kittens less than 8 weeks old or weighing less than 1 kg. Do not treat ferrets less than 6 months old. Do not use in sick (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as sometimes lethal side effects may occur. In the absence of a study, the use of the product is not recommended for non-target species. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to active substances or to any of the excipients.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE PERSON THAT ADMINISTER THE MEDICINE:

This product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes, skin and eyes. So avoid contact of the product with the mouth, skin and eyes. People with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with the medicine.

Avoid contact of content with fingers. If this happens, wash your hands with soap and water. In case of accidental exposure of the eyes, rinse with pure water carefully. Wash your hands after use.

Do not handle treated animals and do not allow children to play with treated animals until the application site is dry. It is therefore recommended that animals are not treated during the day but rather in the early evening, and that recently treated animals are not allowed to sleep with owners, especially children.

Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.

How to apply FRONTLINE Combo pipettes:
Remove the pipette from its packaging and break the tip at the pre-cut part.
Spread the hair at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades until your pet’s skin is visible.

The application to the cat should be done well at the base of the head in order to prevent the animal from licking it itself.
Place the tip of the pipette on the visible skin and squeeze the pipette several times in order to completely empty its contents at a point. Apply to dry skin.
Wait 2 days after application before bathing your pet.
