FRONTLINE COMBO SPOT-ON CAT, is a veterinary medicinal product.
TARGET SPECIES: Cats and ferrets.
INDICATIONS:

In cats: To be used against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks and/or chewing lice:

– Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibition of the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas, for six weeks after application.

– Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). The product has an acaricidal efficacy against ticks that persists according to experimental data for up to 2 weeks.

– Elimination of chewing lice (Felicola subrostratus). The drug can be integrated into a treatment program for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
In ferrets: To be used against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks:

– Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). The insecticidal efficacy against new infestations by adult fleas persists for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by inhibition of the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas.

– Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus). The product has an acaricidal efficacy against ticks that persists (according to experimental data) for 4 weeks.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

In the absence of available data, do not treat kittens under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1 kg. Do not treat ferrets under 6 months of age. Do not use in sick animals (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as sometimes lethal side effects may occur. In the absence of studies, the use of the product is not recommended for non-target species. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN BY THE PERSON ADMINISTERING THE MEDICINAL PRODUCT:

This product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes, skin and eyes. Therefore avoid contact of the product with the mouth, skin and eyes. People with known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with the drug.

Avoid contact of the contents with fingers. If this happens, wash your hands with soap and water. In case of accidental eye exposure, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Wash your hands after use.

Do not handle treated animals and do not allow children to play with treated animals until the application site is dry. It is therefore recommended that animals are not treated during the day but rather in the early evening, and that recently treated animals are not allowed to sleep with owners, especially children.

Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
Duration of action of FRONTLINE Combo:

How to apply FRONTLINE Combo pipettes:
Remove the pipette from its packaging and break the tip at the pre-cut part.
Part the hair at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades until your pet’s skin is visible.

The application on the cat must be done at the base of the head to prevent the animal from licking it itself.
Place the tip of the pipette on the visible skin and press the pipette several times to completely empty its contents in one point. Apply to dry skin.
Wait 2 days after application before bathing your animal.
